Resident of Bihar but wants to change name in documents from Delhi

respected sir, my query is regarding "change of Name". I'm a resident of Bihar but currently living in delhi on rent( in PG). All my documents are made in Bihar. I want to change my name from DEEPAK KUMAR to DEEPAK ARYA. so , i want to ask that can i do all procedure of change in name from delhi like making affidavit, advertisement in newspaper etc. or it is advisable to do it from bihar. I'm expecting prompt response from your side. THANKS
Hello client hru .I have received ur query. Regarding name change from Kumar to arts as ur living in Delhi right now in an PG. .but ur all education is been. Dome in Bihar itself .in this matter some technicalities have to bee seen first but u can do it but with the help of an Advocate then only it will be good for u.

Yes, You have to go same process .make an affadavit. Publish in two newspaper.send to publish in gazette.after that you can use your new name and you can modify your name in all your I'd cards and documents.
