Sir/Mam, I have my garments wholesale business with sole propietorship lisence. I want to change the name of my business. can I change the name?? what is the procedure??
Sir, in a sole proprietorship business, you won’t have to do much to change the name of your business. Speak to the licence department of your concerned municipality or KMC what you need to do. Please call for more details.

You need to surrender your Trade License and state that you are surrendering as you are closing down business. You then have to check your Profession Tax status. You have to surrender for closure . You will have obtain Trade License under new name. Surrender GST registration, if any. Go for registration of new name. Income Tax same Pan will work.
