Procedure to change mothers name in educational certificates.

In all my documents since class 10 marksheet, my mother's name is different from the name she has registered legally. At first unknowingly, i used her nickname in class 10 marksheet which is entirely different from her legal name . Since then , this marksheet has been the basis of further documents i got. She has no legal document proving her to be the person that i had mentioned. Kindly suggest what could be done.

Getting changed in your marksheet might be tough. It is advisable to have her name changed and declarations given in Court, Newspaper and Gazette as well that she is known by both names and both names are of her.
