I Purchased a land registered on my sons name who is a student and now i want to take a home loan for construction in that same plot can i apply the loan on my self and my wife name i have only one son and one daughter.

You being father and natural guardian you have right to do.but if your children are major then you can apply if the appoint you as gpa to act on their behalf. however there are different rules of govt&pvt banks .once check out with them .if you require any help come to me with all your documents so we can do the best.

If your son is minor you cannot take a loan because minor's property cannot be alienated, evev though it's purchased by you in his name.
