Legal procedure to sell my used tablet through internet

I want sell my used tablet. I have given advertisement in internet and got some offer from several people. Now if I want sell it legally, what is the procedure and what are the documents I need to prepare to avoid any harassment in future if the buyer missus the device.
There is no document as such because the object is second hand now. There is no code of procedure for it but you can take an undertaking from the purchaser that he has inspected the object and believes it to be in good condition and will not hold you responsible in future for any discrepancies.
