Legal procedure & requirements for renewal of OBC certificate

Sir I have renewed my obc certificate 4 months ago. Now since I have qualified for my government exams.The iits want the certificates to be renewed of the month of April. Can I renew it now and if yes then what should I do
You can ask for an OBC certificate stating that the same is requirement for Government job. Ideally the employers want latest OBC certificate (preferably of the present financial year) to avoid any confusion
