Lease plot overtaken by Odisha Govt. but no settlement done

18-Oct-2023 (In Documentation Law)
Hi, I have a property (lease plot) at Pathar Gadia village, under District: Khurda, tahasil: Bhubaneswar, RI Circle: Chandaka. This property is now taken over by Odisha Govt. and the settlements still haven't been done. However, I was present at the settlement. I wish to get the khata/patta of this property. I was told that I need to do a High Court case against Govt. to get the Patta in my name. I have the "kabala" ..originals with me. What could be done to get the patta/khata in my name?

Have you applied for mutation of your property for the purpose of issuance of the ror/patta in your favour. You can do so by filing the mutation case. The tahasildar will consider your mutation application for passing necessary orders for the purpose of allowing the mutation in your favour. If you are aggrieved by the order you can approach the high court for appropriate relief in the matter. However, further advice can be tendered only after perusing your documents.
