Is signature of Notary a must on notary stamp paper

I am (Hindu) I had a Certificate of marriage where notary Stamp is there but signature of notary public is missing.My question is notary sign must??
The signature is very important without which such document will be considered as null and void in the eyes of law, hence kindly get the rectification without any further delay failing which you may fall into various problems which are uncalled for
