Perused your query. No it will not create any problem. However an affidavit and a declaration in the newspaper has to be given. For which you may take our legal services for documentation purposes and further advice.

Name is the identity of the person. There is no legal violation by not using the surname with your daughters name. However, your daughter should use the same first name only in all documents -- bank account, passport, school certificates, pan card, aadhar card, election card etc. However, if these documents already exist now, still it is not a problem. Ideally, as far as possible, the name should exist in the same format on all documents.
