No not at all if you are having passport or any other document specifically mentioning your date of birth. That in absence of Birth certificate you can provide an affidavit that you are not having birth certificate and in some regions in india it is admissible.

Any proof of age is necessary, if not birth /matric , Aadhar card will suffice. This is required to check that age of bride and groom is above 18 years and 21years respectively . For other documents required and to fill the form online you can check the MCGM website.
