SCENARIO 1
I am understanding that in this case a co-owner wishes to transfer his share to the other co-owner for an amount of money or payment then In such a case a Transfer of property deed can be drawn up as per section 44 of TPA, 1882 signifying the details of the property and bearing sign of the parties and witnesses and it has to be made on a stamp paper after paying appropriate stamp duty. You also have to get the land registry changed by visiting the Registrar office where in you will be asked for various documents like the transfer deed, your photos and id cards etc to change ownership of land.
SCENARIO 2.
In case the co owner wishes to just give the other co owner the property without any sum if money or consideration then a Gift Deed can be drawn out in favour of transferee and stamp duty depending upon State has to be paid.
*A person who has purchased a property through his self acquired gains/money can transfer his property to anyone. Blood relation is not necessary.
