Hi, I want to start a new publication house. What is the registration process and how much should it cost?
Registration of a Publishing House requires:
1) Formation and registration of the Company under which you would want to run the publishing house
2) Trademark registration of the logo or brand name of the publishing house
3) Registration with GST
4) Buy an ISBN Number
Once these are obtained you shall require legal assistance at various other steps such as lease agreement, hiring employees etc.

For a normal publication house you need not to take any special registration. you can easily process the work by normal firm registration process but if you wan to take any subsidies benefit or any other govt scheme than you must have to follow the respective guideline of related department.
