How to correct date of birth in 10th marksheet

As per birth certificate date of birth is 10.04.1964.But in 10 pass certificate the date of birth is 10.12.1963.I passed class 10 in the year 1979. Is it legally possible to correct the date of birth in 10 pass certificate?
Yes it is legally possible.you have to make an affidavit from court.The affidavit should contain all correct information.For affidavit you have to consult lawyer.after making affidavit you have to go to westbengal board office for correction.

It is possible to correct the details in school leaving certificate, provided such is presented along with an affidavit followed by a newspaper publication. But there is a limitation in obtaining the same.

If parents are alive then they can affirm affidavit before 1st Class Magistrate.
If any one of the parents is alive then he/she can affirm the affidavit.
If none is alive then you can affirm affidavit before 1st Class Magistrate.
You can then send to Board the copy of the affidavit for taking record of the same.
KIndly check rules to this effect with the concerned Board.
