How to collect bank the documents of a scooty

I was detained for the violation of traffic rule my scooty documents was collected by the respected traffic officer in charge,OIC further provided me with a temporary acknowledgement receipt which now I have misplaced .i don't the further process to regain my documents,the challan was of Rs.100 .It would be very helpful if anyone can provide me some help with the process .
You have not mentioned in your query which document has been seized by the Police during your violation of traffic rule subject to that the advise to be provided. As if he has taken your Blue Book than you deposit the fine with the relevant department as against your fine which you can very well get on line. And after making of the payment produce the slip to the said office and produce all other documents which will certify that the scooty belongs to you and thereafter after giving an application for loss of receipt obtained your documents.
