How can the ownership name be changed for a shop.

02-Dec-2023 (In Documentation Law)
Hello, My late father was the ration shop licence owner. After this demise last year the shop is now run by one of our family member, however the shop is still in the name of my father which means we could be legally charged if there is are mistakes committed by the people who are currently running the shop. We want to now remove all ownerships to avoid any further issues. Please advise the possible options available.
