House owner not ready to give confirmation against my police verificat

I was in pune in between 2015-16 and i waa staying with my friends. There wwas no rental agreement where i was staying. I used to pay rent to my friend. Now my police verification case has gone to pune and there is no proof of my existence during that period. House owner doesn't know me so he is not ready to give any kind of confirmation. Police officer is saying that he will give negative comment like (there is no criminal case against me and i was staying there without the knowledge of the owner). Is this going to affect my job as i am working in a psu.

So why don’t you ask your friend to help you regarding this ? Did you transfer the amount to your friend’s account or gave her cash ? Let me know the details so that I can help you further. The house owner must be knowing that you were staying there right ?
