Gave car to a friend in return of some amount ownership not transfered

I gave my car to a friend in return of the amount i borrowed from him in 2008.I Did not get the sale deed. He did not transfer and gave it to someone else. What can i do now to get it transferred on the name of the current owner. Person who has the car now can not be found.
Dear friend as per your question and situation i cant suggest you without all papers and evidence because you write incomplete facts without study all facts and evidence i cant help you but you file a criminal complaint against person who not return your money
