Error in Donee's details in gift deed how to correct

Dear sir. The error mentioned by you, in the gist deed is not if a major concern as such typographical errors do happen. Please check if there are many discrepancy in the schedule of the property or the details of seller amd previous sellers. More important things to consider during purchasing a property is to procure a legal opinion.

Question: Hi, I'm trying to buy a bda plot in bangalore. The plot is a registered gift deed (mother gifted to daughter). Now the daughter is trying to sell it to me. When I went through the GIFT DEED, I see a typological error in the Donee's details. In the 4th line below, the error I see is "Sife of", instead of "Wife of". The Donee's details I see is as below (names changed to hide the identity) : Smt. Priya Mohan, Aged about 46 years, Daughter of K.Anil, Sife of Sri.S.Mohan, Presently Residing at 200, Pride Apartments, Uttarahalli Road, Bangalore-560061 However, in the Khata, and Tax receipts, the Donee has NOT added the 3rd and 4th lines. In Khata and Tax receipts the Donee details is as below: Smt. Priya Mohan, #200, Pride Apartments, Uttarahalli Road, Bangalore-560061 What should I do ?? Can I buy the property with the Sale deed as it is with this "Sife of" error (OR) should I refrain from buying it ?? Appreciate your valuable advice.

Ans: the errors are not major and the identity can be established even with the mistakes. therefore, there is no need for doing any corrections on the said aspect. only with major mistakes in site number or dimensions or boundaries or total change in the names would require rectification. therefore, for the only said mistakes you you can go ahead with other aspects being correct.
