Please furnish me the clarity on the followings;
1. Whether the death registration certificate has been obtained from the local Municipality;
2. Whether the claimant was the nominee in the account in question;
3. whether any objection has been risen by any of the heirs of the deceased

Your query is silent on the fact whether there is an Nominee in your wives account. If there is no nominee than you would require legal heir certificate or affidavit/ No objection certificate of all legal heir of your wife . Accordingly on the basis of documents the bank will settle the claim of your wife saving account
