Divorce done now want to change name of spouse on passport

My friend has divorced. He wishes to remove his wife's name from the passport. what is the process for that? will Annexure E help in this case ?
Apply for Re issue of passport with the selection of the required change of particulars and show the certified copy of divorce decree to passport authority to remove the name of his ex wife ,.,.,..,.,.
