As it is a old 1945 case scenario, before independence then it is required to check the document.if the transfer was done on plane paper then it is not possible, but if they have done on non judicial paper then oath commissioner can certify that document.

Need to see the exact documents and what does it confer? Further, how the revenue on the land is beingvpaid, any change of ownership or mutation was done thereafter. Whether the land was subject to various notifications and laws after 1957. Any impending cases on the partitions and coparceners of the joint property? All these aspects are necessary for you to create any such documents. Regards, contact me.

there are some people who can arrange the old document prepared and notorized you can ask them for the same as i can see that your registration need to get papers from back date no need to worry it would be done easi;ly you can contact the person dealing in this type of matters and once registry was done you do not need the notorized papers
