Can the changing of name be published in Maharashtra Gazette

Hi, I have changed my name and want to get it published in gazette. My Address proof is of Bangalore. The news paper publication was done in Pune newspaper. Can I publish in Maharashtra Gazette.

you may proceed to publish in the maharashtra gazette or any other state government gazette depending on the needs and compliance, it is advised to publish in the gazette in english language as the same will be useful to all purposes.

Hi, As per your query the issues or concerns of yours as understood is that your Address Proof is of Bangalore Location. Change of Name which was published in a daily newspaper was done in Pune. And Now you would like to know whether you can publish in the Maharashtra Gazette.

Please note that the Gazette Notification is "A notification published in the Gazette of India regarding the name change". Hence it doesn't matter in which state you apply for Gazette Publication. You may check Department of Publication (Government of India) website for further details.
