Can spelling mistake in caste certificate cause problem in verifcation

my name is wrongly spelt in my caste certificate .. I have affidavit for that case... Now I have got a state government job... My question is.. That issue can cause any problem for documents verification by government??
No not so. But if you want to correct the same you can file an Affidavit to that effect to the concerned department from where the certificate was issued for rectification of the same. Hope my reply was sufficient to answer your query
