Can I appear for both U.P Board and CBSE board in the same year ?

i have applied in U.P BOARD & CBSE BOARD for class 10th in the same year. can i give both board"s exam or not. IF not why? and any punishment about this
Hello,
You cannot give two Board exams simultaneously as you can be a regular student of only one Board.
If this is found out you can lose both your certificates and be punished in accordance with the rules of Education Department.
However you may-
1. Appear as a private candidate in the next year (if you fail) for either of the Boards.
2. Give Compartment exam.
3. Give an improvement paper.

none is allowed to appear at U.P.Board's 10th and CBSE Board 10th class examinations in the same year as in both these exams one has to be a regular student and that is not possible in the same year ; further if one conceals the fact and appears at both these exams in the same year his/her candidature may be cancelled and he/she may be debarred for future also.
