Dear Sir, I have a bike of my friend. It is bought in Bihar and all the registration taxes are paid. I want to use it in Kolkata. Is there any problem?
First seek for an authorisation letter from your friend as to why and for what purpose he is giving you his bike for your use moreso get hold of all documents a photocopy each for your own safety and ask your friend or you should pay a portion of road tax of the tax of Kolkata. Then you can use it without hassles.

you have to get the registration confirmed with PVD department of Kolkata by submitting of the related blue book of the vehicle which you are plying in Kolkata without being the same you may be penalized by the Police with heavy penalty and fine which please note.
