Women want to take divorce as husband not working

Hi Team,
There is a situation where in my friend[female] is going through a matrimonial issues.
She has 2 kids and married for the 10 years now. Her husband has not been working since last 4-5 years and being at home he is troubling her wife.
Now she decide to take divorce as she sees that her children future is at stake.
here my friend is not working at since last 6 years as her husband did not let her do the job.
Can you please suggest ,if she goes for divorce at this stage, Can she get financial help for her kids from her Husband? Currently her husband running house with his mother pensions and there is good house on her husband mother's name.
Please suggest.
Yes if she is not earning lady then she is entitled for maintenance from her husband and mother in law as she has to file criminal application under the provisions of Domestic Violence Act also she can file criminal application under crpc.

she can file a divorce petition or maintenance file against him but if she is able to manage to the her children's
like that education or food or anything after filling petition the counseling the when in court if settle they live together otherwise order can grant for divorce or maintenance
