Will maintenance be stopped if a Divorce case is lodged

Hi, I had filed for a maintenance case in 2021 and it is getting settled after mediation. However, if I file a Divorce case now, will the maintenance still be paid by the father of the child and will I get any monetary help from.divorce case. Please help me understand..

Dear Madam, Your child is entitled for maintenance unless it is settled during mediation of divorce case. You must say that you are not going to settle the claim of child even though you enter into mutual divorce.

if you have filed that your face against your husband you already have assistance of your advocate and most probably the matter of maintenance of the child and also off yourself will also be included in the divorce mediation process.
