Sir you just file a complaint in the police station and produce the call recording if available. You can also go legally if you want your wife back by filing Restitution of conjugal rights in family court of your jurisdiction immediately.
You can file habeas corpus in concern high court or u can go and communicate the same near the human rights commission or u can go and approach media any tv channel and seak there help or approach the concern SP(superintendent of police ) of your area and communicate the same he might help u.i think these are all possible ways.dont panic if your mothet-in-law filed a case against u it might be 498a ipc and now it is not having such gravity to arrest u and throw u behind bars and now it is bailable offence more over notice is only will be given to u under section 41a crpc by concern police officer in such crimes.if your marriage is valid marriage no one can stop you to get your eife back.you had so many remedies to get back your wife to you through court .last but not least now you can use social media like Facebook also to seak public help to your problem .
Hi
Since your wife was forcibly separated from you by her mother on 03 Dec, your options are
a) Wait for about 2-4 weeks
OR
b) Call for a meeting of elders and resolve the issue
OR
c) File a restitution of conjugal rights petition in court of law.
Do not need worry on complaint etc because police will not arrest or register any complaint without mediation and counselling in family matters.
