Wife staying separately filed for complaint against family

01-Dec-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My brother married 2 years back, from the 1st day the wife has been behaving badly with and my parents. She also hit him thrice. And kept running back home. She got pregnant and went home and came back my brother after the delivery. She stayed for a week and her mother died, so my bro, her and the kids along with my mother went there. After 3 days, one night she behaved badly with him, hit him and abused him and asked to get out of her house. She stays with her father and brother. Now, she has given a complaint at Cuttuck (Odisha - our native place) that we are not bringing her back...its been a year. We tried for mutual but they didn't respond. We got a call from a lady officer tonight asking my bro, father and mother to go to Cuttuck from Ahmedabad and meet the officer. Please advise.

firstly don't go anywhere, if they need your requirement then they will send notice or court summon than you have to go there, If you go there on only phone call you may be put behind the bars in some charges.
Now you have to file Divorce petition and you will get divorce without any maintenance.
Remember don't bring her back to home.

This is a very bad case - wife beating husband. Keep your evidence intact and present them before the police n later on the court. For the time being you may represent thru advocate. You have to prove her bad behaviour and fights, beating which is cruelty. You will get relief on that ground. In this short space, difficult to explain. Its a big subject. Rules are in woman's favour.
