Wife put an application for maintenance and dv

My wife filed complaint in caw cell & now ignoring caw officers call for closure of file & in response she said IO that she has applied for maintenance & dv in court but I didn’t got any notice, how much time does court take to register such cases, please tell

CAW cell process is total different than court proceedings CAW cell case are not closed but 498A And other section FIR is registered. in court once mantainance or Dv case is filled summon will be sent to you by post or by WhatsApp. generally it takes 2 to 3months time depending on address and other factors.

you can find out the details of cases against and at what stage they are at from the concerned registry of the court. at times online records are also available. notice is issued immediately to the husband and relatives once the court is satisfied that there is a case made out. should you have any questions please feel free to contact me

You need to hire expert advocate for such cases. FIR u/s 498a etc can be lodge against you and in DV case you will get summons from court within two months. Kindly b in touch to discuss further Thanks

We suggest you to engage a lawyer and seek legal advise on your matrimonial issue. Do seek advise and than proceed before the CAW. So far as summons are concerned it might take about 1-2 months time. Cases must have been filed and registered. Summons might be issued on the First date of hearing
