Wife left abroad after marriage and not providing maintenance

Hello, i am a Hindu wife. Just wanted to know if a husband works n stays out of india and does not take his wife along with him and does not apply any visa and just leave her to matrimonial house for taking care of his mother....inspite of all this discussed before fixing marriage that wife would stay with husband only..... isnt it cruelty from husband. One more query is that if the wife wants to do a job and husband and in laws are not allowing to do the same, does she have a legal right to work after marriage. To tell u my matrimonial home is in a village and no job possibility is there, for work i will have to move to some other place. Please someone reply to my questions.
you didn't tell that you want to live in this marriage or going to leave. And you can file a petition under section 9 in hindu law to live with your husband. And u can also go for a job after marriage.

Hi , basically you can take the help of your relatives to settle the issue . As far as cruelty is concerned than the same have to be proved that it is being done intentionally . Regarding job it is actually an matter of legal right available to everybody and the same can be discussed with your spouse ; So it does not create any misunderstanding among the marriage relationship.

if you discussed before marriage to go to abroad with husband and now he is not taking you, then you can very well ask that as per condition precedent you are also authorise to acompany your husband.if any one not allowing you to go for job than it is coming under cruelty. if you are willing to go for job , they can not stop you . still they put pressure on you for not joing your job , then it is cruelty.you have freedom to choose the job as per your choice.

U file a case of domestic violence against ur husband & mother in law.then I think ur husband definitely along with u at aborade & he apply for ur visa . It's ur right in Hindu law & u can do work also anywhere in India after marriage & u can move for other place for job.
