Wife is mentally and physically abusing me

My wife has some anger issues and she is constantly fighting with me. She is mentally and physically abusing me. I have started to retaliate against her. She has threatened to destroy my life. Today she threatened to kill me. We have 8 months old daughter. I am considering to file a divorce but she is not ready. I am a German citizen (OCI) and she is NRI. We live in Germany and both work in Germany. Currently we are in Pune for 2 months.
If the abuse against you continues then you lodge a complaint against her with the Police here, however, the same should be done only in extreme cases. Also, instead of divorce you can opt for separation for time being in order to settle things. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice.

Well, you guys have Citizenship of which Country? That is an Important question, because, Laws of such country will be applicable upon your Divorce, of which you were Citizens of or where you have got married under which act!

Need to know the place of marriage to decide whether you can file case in india
If it is impossible to lead this kind of life as an everyday ordeal you can file for mutual consent divorce or a contested one
You can file a complaint in police to avoid further mishap and send a notice to wife
The marriage can be dissolved amicably

Well, you can seek Divorce from each other in Pune, if you have got married here in Pune as per the concerned provisions of either Hindu Marriage Act or Special Marriage Act or any other Act. If you would have got married in Germany, then seek Divorce as per the law of that country.
