Wife has left me - What should I do next

Hi , Its been a month my wife has left my home and currently staying at her father home. We were married for 8 months together. She informed me she doesnt want me anymore and there was a bug fight and panchayat. Post that there is no call or message from her. It appears she is going to apply for divorce. What should I do now legally. Someone informed me that divorce cant be filed upto one year and nevertheless she hs not taken any actio so far. So please help me to legal course of action to safeguard me and my family

in this situation you can file restitution of conjugal rights petition for your protection if she files any case against you this petition help you yours no default better you can file immediately ethire you can file mutually divorce petition

it is correct to say that unless there is a very strong immediate reason divorce cannot be filed within one year of marriage . As for the safety of you and your family you better file for restitution of conjugal rights and in that process you can place before Court your side of story first.
