Why my wife not giving divorce? she was not interested on me from day1 due to forced marriage to her. No support, lies(dowry and sexual harassments), emotional cheating, left me. After 1 year separation she put sec9 I filed sec13 1ia. No kids. She filed sec498a after 2years. current status: Cross examination going in district court. I want divorce its been 3 years now.

Dear Sir, Considering the circumstances as you explained above, it would be advisable if you go for the mutual divorce after convincing your wife. It would be both expedient and less expensive as both of you have spent a considerable amount of time in the litigation.

Would advise you to seek a second opinion from a lawyer having expertise in matrimonial laws. Do change your Advocate if you are not satisfied. Get the case files from your current lawyer and get it legally perused from a new lawyer and explore possibilities
