I have married 8 months back and my wofe is staying away from me from 6 months, I have a debt of 5 lakhs to bank as i have taken loan, my income is 13600 monthly. My wife havent provided ne any property or money at the time of marriage. Provide me the details what will be the compensation i need to pay to my wife after divorce

The court shall take into account the status of the husband in fixing the amount for alimony. The supreme court says that the alimony must be sufficient to ensure that woman lived with dignity after separating from her husband. If estimated, twenty-five per cent of the husband’s net salary would be just and proper to be awarded as alimony to the wife. The amount of permanent alimony awarded to the wife must be befitting the status of the parties and the capacity of the husband to pay alimony which is always dependent on the factual situation of the case.
