What is the procedure for applying for divorce ground mental torture

I am putting this query on my sister's(Working) behalf- In One year of marriage 1. My sister's husband asked her money multiple times like for some online payments, installation Payments. 2. Her husband and Mother in law given threat once or twice to be beaten. 3. Taunting on regular basis. 4. Her husband remains out of home for multiple hours without telling where he is. 5. Two of her husbnad's sister who are married also involved for disturbing my sister mentally through whatsapp/FB. My sister came back to our home and staying with us from last 4 months. One month back her husband approached her and told that he will try to resolve the issues and was committing to come with his relatives and this was going on for 1 month and one day he just called my sister from airport and told her that he is going to USA and will be back after sometime. Query- His mother and sister(married) are still in India, what all we can do in this situation as we

In that situation u can file domestic violation case against the accused persons for cruelty and abuse with your sister. Or she can file police complaint before the PS or concerns court wherein subject matter

it depends on the relief you are seeking against the husband and in-laws. There are remedies under domestic violence act, hindu marriage act as well as other remedies for seeking maintenance. You can initially file a complaint with the CAW cell where mediation will be held. See if you can resolve issues there otherwise you can file a petition under DV act or a petition for divorce if you want.
