What is the highest or longest time gap between 2 hearings in any kind of case written in the Indian Constitution / Indian Law? can I ask for next hearing date to give after 2 years or at-least 1 year?

As per provisions of civil procedure code the cases to be posted on day to day basis. As per circulars the maximum limit to dispose of civil case is 24 months. You may not get long adjournment but you may allow the case to run and if it is decided ex-parte then get it set aside after 2 years.
