In legal contexts, "MC" can stand for "Mutual Consent", particularly in family law where it refers to a Mutual Consent divorce, a divorce filed jointly by both spouses who agree to dissolve the marriage amicably. However, "MC" can also mean "Miscellaneous Case", which is a broader term used in court systems to categorize cases that don?t fit under a standard classification. These may include applications for interim relief, procedural requests, or supplemental matters within an ongoing case. The exact meaning of "MC" often depends on the legal context and jurisdiction, but in matrimonial courts, it is most commonly associated with mutual consent divorces.
