What documents are required to file a petition

Actually need to enquire about the documents requried for filing the petition. We have the petition ready, its just matter to file it., we wish to file on our own.. but not really sure what all documents are needed along with petition. can you please list down all the documents that are needed.

By the facts given in your question and seemingly appropriate as a Mutual consent petition, here are the list of documents. 2 to 4 color photographs of each petitioner. Marriage certificate, Marriage Invitation card, settlement cheque or DD copy, copies of Bonds, share certificates, Insurance and other investment details as declared in the petition, Marriage Photographs. Also check with the filing department of the court to guide you for any other documents.

If it is Mutual the documents you need are:
1. Identity Proof.
2. Address Proof.
3. Marriage Certificate. (If not then)
4. Marriage Invitation Card Original.
5. Marriage Photograph.

Generally, the petition is prepared by the Advocate considering the legal requirements and the relevant law applicable in the matter.
