What cases i should file against my husband & in laws

23-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My father in law tried to sexually harass me after 40days of marriage. My husband blaimed me instead. My husband is a narcissist, mentally tortures me from the beginning of marriage. After coming at my parental home, i filed a complain in women cell, but i didnt tell police that he is a narc (indians dont understand it), i told about the mental torture, father in law attempt to touch me & dowry taunts by my mother in law, police took it lightly, not filing FIR. Do i need to add more severe allegations to make them take action against them? My husband has filed divorce case before one year of marriage full of fake allegations, not allowed me take any of my stridhan & claimed that i brought it all & they hide it somewhere. Will i get it back even if they have sold it or given it to some relative? I have filed 125crpc. Should i file DV, section 9 too? As he is not ready for settlement, only offering me 4lacs (even my streedhan is of more value than it which he is possessing illegally)

Dear Madam,
Atleast now you can lodge complaint against your father-in-law for committing such serious offence against you. You may say that due to family issues and to save the marriage all these days you have not lodged complaint against your father-in-law. Further they can file Domestic Violence case to presaurize them to settle the matter.

If police dnt register the complaint and file FIR then you can file PCR at Majistrate court and request the judge to direct the police to file FIR and take action against your husband and his parents. Within one year of marriage divorce can't be filed it can be filed only on exceptional grounds like mental illness, bigamy, impotency and marriage through coercion ( proof is mandatory) otherwise within one year it can't be filed as per law. You can file PCR on immediate basis for further action
