We need a divorce but we are not sure that girl's family will agree or not, and should we ask them that we need divorce, because we have a feeling that if we start talking about divorce, her family can put false accusations on our family. We are looking for divorce because her family is continuously interefering in our life and their mutual understanding and respect is missing in the relation. I will keep this short.

There are various situations where you can seek divorce- Adultery, Desertion, Conversion etc. however what you are stating is that your wife's family's interference in your personal lives has ruined your relationship beyond repair. This can come under the grounds of cruelty however there are a few problems in your situations.

The Indian Courts do not grant divorce at the whims and fancy of every couple seeking divorce. There have to be cogent reasons and evidence to define the cruelty. Furthermore, is it only the interference of her parents which is causing a problem? Is your wife ready to live with you if she is separated from her parents? All these need to be discussed to give you further advice.

However if your wife is ready and amicable to seek divorce and is ready to withdraw from the marriage, you have the solution of a seeking divorce by mutual consent. This will entitle both parties to avoid extensive litigation and waste years seeking divorce.
