If you want divorce mutually its easy and takes 6 months time. If one party is not agreeying than it will take a longer time. One year seperation of husband and wife is needs to file a divorce case in court

Depending upon the facts and circumstances of your case as to how you wish to proceed with the divorce a long with whether it would be a contested or a mutual divorce the period of litigation is determined.

To be clear through precedents, if contested it can stretch for 3 years and if not, a decree can be obtained in a year.

Hi, your query seems incomplete. Yet I would try to answer your query. You enter into the legal battle with your convenience but there is no fixed duration, how long the case would go. In your case i.e. Divorce case, these are also two types. One is Mutual Divorce which takes only six months if the thing go smoothly and on the other hand there is contested divorce, which obviously takes some time.

You want to live separately with your daughter:
Yes you can live with your daughter separately, there is no boundation on you. You can enjoy your life in your own way.
