Sir/Mam if u want to divorce your spouse than there are two ways of getting divorce one is by mutual divorce and another is by proving the cruelty or such things which shows that you cannot go along in this relationship . For mutual divorce both the parties have to be ready for divorce and it takes 6 months after once first motion is done total time required in this process is 6months and in the second one u can get divorce on the basis of mental torture which amounts to cruelty . For this u have to prove this thing . And as per Ur second query on alimony this will depend on u if u r going for mutual divorce as Ur spouse is ready to give or nt for further information do contact along with complete details of your case . Than only will be able to help you out Bette

Yes, you will get alimony in mutual divorce, if agreed upon while filing the mutual divorce case. It is better to have one time alimony according to the financial situation of your husband. It can very from few lakhs to even crores. But the husband, first should be in position to pay and second should agree to pay in an agreement while filing of the mutual divorce petition.

Mutual consent divorce is in fact a settlement for divorce wherein terms and conditions are mutually beneficial and agreed upon by the parties. You can get everything including alimony and other benefits depending on how the best your lawyer has prepared the settlement.
In Mcd case court can not grant more or less than the settlement.
