Want immediate divorce from wife on grounds of mental cruelty

I am a Hindu man being married for 9 years and blessed with 2 kids ageing 9 yrs and 1 yr. I had pre marital relation with another girl but after my marriage I forgot everything of my past and maintained faithful relationship with my wife. However, since 1st yr of marriage ever since my wife came to know abt it, she has been severely criticizing me using abuses like characterless etc. This has severely hurt my dignity and self respect and affected my confidence to live. Need guidance, please.

If your wife is also ready for divorce then you can file divorce by the way of mutual consent under Section 13B of Hindu marriage act. However, if she is not ready for Divorce or if both of you are not able to reach an amicable settlement then you will have to file a contested Divorce.

Hello sir, in case you wish to file a petition against your wife take in the ground of quality mental or physical Naa emotional you can do so in the appropriate family court.
