If the behaviour of your husband is intolerable towards you then rather then dragging your relationship you can always file for divorce against him under cruelty grounds. I would suggest you to go for the mutual divorce because it is less money consuming and ends up in maximum of six months.

After perusing your matriminial issue, we would like to suggest you that you should seek a detailed legal consultation from an advocate having experience in matrimonial laws. You have certain legal remedies which you can avail like filing a divorce petition, complaint under domestic violence, seek maintenance And custody

You need to create pressure on him for that purpose. If he is earning so much, you must claim maintenance for yourself as well as your child. There are several remedies that you have and can make use of them to put pressure. You may file DV case and section 125 case against him. In both of these you can claim maintenance. If you are able to put legal and financial pressure on him, he will surely come to the negotiating table.
