Want divorce from my husband but he is not agreeing

I am a hindu female and have been married for 5 years and has a 3 year old son. From the very start I was not happy in this marriage.1. He always wants thing to happen his way.2. During my pregnancy there was no help from him or my inlaws.3. Even after delivery there was no support from my husband or inlaws. And I had to do it all on my own.4. 2years back he left his goverment job saying that he is not happy with the job and he will do something else. I supported himn4. But last year when I took my promotion to make my family financially strong and had to move out of the city. He was not happy and continuously taunted me that he had to leave his family because of me.Therefore I asked him I can't live with him and want a divorce. 4 months back he left for his home saying that he would not divorce. Since then there has been no contact. His family has only contacted my family saying that I was mentally torturing him so he came back to his own house. What are the merits in my case?
