You can seek divorce by filing a petition for the same. However, as far as custody of the child is concerned, it is important to know whether your husband would want to take the custody of the child. Feel free to contact me for seeking any further legal advice as regards the same.

if you have completed 1 year of marriage and now if you are pregnant and if you want to get divorce at this stage it will be possible ...you can also give him the child custody to him and optout the way out and also if has done to you any kind of physical harm make sure you file police complaint or even online N C that will be able to get you a faster divorce ... also you can claim for the damage charges and wasting your lifes valuable time... also such short tempered people are difficult to adjust in long run

if your husband has agreed for mutual consent divorce then you can file mutual consent divorce case which takes 6 months time for dissolving the marriage.. make sure you take alimony as one time settlement amount for maintenance...

Well, in order to seek a Divorce, you need to physically stay away from each other for atleast a year, which means sexual absistence for a year is must. Then, you become eligible to apply for Mutual Divorce Petition in Court, if your Hubby is also ready to Divorce you.
