In the event you want to take divorce, you will have to wait till 1 year from the date of marriage. Unless there are special circumstances, divorce petition can only be filed, after 1 year from the date of marriage. The easier way is to file divorce petition by mutual consent, in case your husband also agrees for divorce. In the event he does not agree then you may have to file divorce unilaterally on the grounds available for divorce under the law. FOr more specific information, you may contact me with specific details of your case.

Normally, the divorce petitions are not accepted before one year of marriage but exceptions can be made depending on the circumstances. In the circumstances stated by you , first you must report the matter in the 'Crime Against Women Cell' of police and then proceed with a court case for divorce.

madam,

No divorce petition can be filed within one year of marriage.

you have to take permission from the court, if you want to file your divorce petition within one year of divorce. You have to show very strong reasons otherwise court are not interested in granting permission to file.

kindly take appointment and tell me the entire facts than only i would be in a position to help you and provide you legal help

Hi.
You can file a divorce unless more than 1 year have been passed from marriage but in exceptional circumstances like extreme cruelity by husband and which may cause death or chances of loss of life or limb, then in these circumstances you can file a divorce before 1 year.

Thanks
