Victim forced to stay with husband after abuse

18-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I know a woman who has been married for 6 years. She has been physically and sexually abused by her husband. She has left her husband and went back to family, but every time was sent back to her husband as they belong to low income range. The violence happens again after return. This time she wants to file a divorce, but her parental house doesnt want. Moreover her husband has threatned me not to help her and also threatned her that with nowhere to go she will return back to him and he will ensure this time that she doesnt come in contact with outside world. The abuse and violence will continue. The women wants to stay away. Is it possible she lives Delhi and settles in some other place. Can she file a divorce case in the new place. She cannot file a FIR now as her parental people are not allowing. How to help her out of this? (Religion : Hindu)

She immediately needs to register a complaint against her husband for all the cruelty meted out by her. Also she can file for divorce on the same ground and can seek police protection if she has any apprehension of loss of life. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks

She can file the case anywhere she resides after leaving the House of her in-laws. The law works in favour of the woman in such cases considering the fact that the woman are harassed and molested by the in-laws.

The woman can file case anywhere in India where she is staying at the Supreme Court is very clear that justice should be at your doorstep and if you have seen that most of the cases which are related with women's they have been transferred by the Supreme Court to the place where the woman is residing so it's very easy for women to save her husband from anywhere in India thank you
