Validity of second marriage without divorce from first wife

What can be happen with second wife? husband do second marriage. What will be happen if first one know it?
Dear Querist, Second Marriage without divorce or death of first wife is null and void. So second wife has no legal status. If first wife learns about second marriage, then she should file case of adultery against husband.

The second marriage is not legally valid. The second wife though legally she cannot be called a wife is not entitled to any maintenance or property rights from her husband.However if any children are born, they are entitled to maintainence.
